In 2003 Chris Jackson, Ed Carpenter and Sam Johnson founded the design collective SHIFT. A critically acclaimed exhibition, Time:Frame, followed. Time:Frame displayed the results of the SHIFT collective collaborating with reproduction furniture manufacturers in the east end of London to develop a range of contemporary product.
