Seeing a gap in the market to meet the needs of experienced design practitioners, I created Workchops. The inaugural Workchops event was an immersive retreat, culminating in a free public talk at Massey University’s College of Creative Arts on Wednesday the 22nd of March 2o17. During the 4 day event, designers, policy makers and social innovators expanded their co-design and … Read More

In the second iteration of our Design Thinking Bootcamp, we worked with young leaders from Taranaki and Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei. I worked with Stanford D-School alumni, Anne Gibbon, to plan and deliver a four day design thinking bootcamp for young leaders from Waikato-Tainui iwi. The programme took participants through foundational elements of the design thinking process, and built confidence and skills through a mixture of theory and practice-based exercises.
As part of the “Collider” programme, I am currently working as “Design Thinker in Residence” with The Biz Dojo in Wellington on a project entitled #Brainstrust. The #Brainstrust is a selection of local businesses who will be helping each other tackle their business challenges, using design tools and techniques. Stay tuned for more information.
